HR interview done via teams. TA was based out of India. Nice cordial conversation. But a red flag came up - position I applied for was principal but she sprinkles out level will be decided later. Nevertheless, overall it was positive and warm.
Next interview scheduled with Sr Principal. Focus was on my experience in insurance space , behavioral questions and some thought leadership areas around embedded insurance, AI in insurance etc. Nice experience overall.
Next interview scheduled with Client partner/Sr Director level. This is where it went beyond JD. Position is for industry principal, business consulting and interviewer is asking about tool configurations, guidewire platform related questions. I politely pointed out that guidewire platform experience and expertise is not in the JD. No to sound rude but there was clearly a gap what was in JD and what this interviewer was hiring for were miles apart. It seemed the gentleman may not have even read or given a thought about it.
