Infosys Software Engineer interview questions

The interview first asked me to tell me something about my self. I pretty much told him about my educational background, projects i have worked in, extra-curricular activities i have been involved in along with my hobbies. Since, i belong to computer science background he asked me about some technical questions like :- 1 what is big data? What are its applications? How does data is processed in big data ? 2 what is hadoop ? Difference between hadoop and sql ? 3 Is there pointers in c++ ? If so what are their uses ? In which computer language pointers concepts were removed ? Why? So, overall interview was easy. Tip just put more focus on aptitude and don’t worry if your technical is not that strong because they are looking for candidates who have good communication skills since they will be providing you proper technical training.
