Infosys Software Test Engineer interview questions

I applied on infosys career page as a lateral hire and got interview invite in another couple of weeks. Upon receiving interview invite asked to fill up basic details like notice period, expected ctc etc. Entire recruitment process was pretty simple - technical round, behavioural round, managerial round followed by HR. The process took more than 20 days. Even upon asking expected ctc in advance post clearing all the rounds HR said we can offer you lesser than what you are currently paid.

Interview process was good, interviewers have asked decent java and Selenium questions, but at the end they can offer you less than your current CTC because they don't have budget for this role and they are Infosys (these are not my words, HR will tell you the same statement after clearing all the rounds) Even if you have offer from another company then HR will say that this is the final package we can offer you and we are not encouraging the process of bargaining. :) I only have one request if you cannot give at least 30% hike on the current CTC then please mention this to the candidates before scheduling interview.
