I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Infosys (Mysore) in Nov 2021
Interview
Straightforward and focused on evaluating foundational knowledge. The questions primarily revolved around:
OOPs Concepts: Understanding of core Object-Oriented Programming principles such as inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, and abstraction.
Databases: Basics of SQL, types of databases (relational vs non-relational), and commonly used operations like joins, normalization, and indexing.
SDLC Documents: Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle stages and related documentation (e.g., SRS, design documents, test plans).

Question 1
They specifically asked me to explain the core principles of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs)—like inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, and abstraction—with real-world examples. They seemed keen to check if I truly understood the concepts rather than just memorizing definitions.
