I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Infosys (Neu-Delhi) in Jul 2018
Interview
I recieved a LinkedIn message from a peer about opening in Infy and gave me profile of senior VP who shared the requirements originally. I sent him a message and my profile for evaluation, and after few weeks I received the call letter.
Interview process was well coordinated and had limited number of people invited for the f2f discussion.
First round was technical, and mine lasted about 40 minutes. We discussed architecture and application of Hadoop ecosystem and project specific requirements. Questions were mostly on HDFS, HBase, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Unix and little bit of database.
Second round was Management round. It lasted about 1 hour. They asked me project management and team management related questions. Asked about various team scenarios and how would I handle them. Some scenarios related to customer handling were asked as well.
Last round was HR and salary negotiation. They asked base questions like why I am switching, what do I expect and told me that my profile was considered for a higher role due to good performance in MR round.
I was given Technology Lead Role instead of Technology Analyst. The salary offered was satisfactory and growth until next role seems good as well.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Infosys
