Infosys Test Analyst interview questions

I have applied through Employee referral and got call from HR after 10 days Interview process was is easy completed till HR round and discussed about salary and agreed for Compensation. HR informed you will receive the Letter in next 10 days. After 3 days got mail saying 'we regret to inform you that we are unable to match your expectations and hence will not be in a position to take your candidature ahead.' Still i could't understand HR agreed and told you will receive the offer letter but this is really unfair and felt very bad on the process. Not proper message for decline.

Applied through referral process. 2 rounds of Interview was conducted. 1st round was technical interview with 2 member team. During technical round mostly process and previous projects experience was questioned. Best part is there are much worried on the previous project for recruitment. Next is HR round. where Infosys has standard slabs with min and max salaries for each role. So based on experience and interview feedback HR would offer you the salary. Previous organisation salary drawn is irrelevant here.
