It was a very straight-forward first interview after the screening one. I wish recruiters would be open discussing salary range so no party loses time if expectations aren't aligned. I had to ask as I had already two other interviews in process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Usual screening questions about past experiences and why I was in the lookout for a new position in a new organization.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Intact
Interview
Applied for another position but got contacted by recruiter who advised that role was filled internally but I was highly qualified for this role. Had phone interview which was standard and basic experience where recruiter asked my salary range and confirmed it was aligned with theirs, followed by a video interview with the hiring managers a couple days later. A few days later, recruiter emailed and called with an offer. The offer was significantly less than agreed upon and when I countered, recruiter said I wasn't qualified for position which was why the offer was low. I declined the offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"what is your base salary range?" "Describe a time when you had to handle a difficult customer"
2 phone interviews + 1 zoom call. It was an hour long with 2 managers. As long as you prepare for it, you should do well. The first part is standard interview questions, then they move on to situational questions, followed up with a document that you have to submit with answers to calculation questions.
