This was the longest and most time consuming hiring process I have ever been through. I applied online in June and heard back a month later and was invited for a group interview.
Then I was called back for an interview with two managers, the following week. At the interview I explained that I had a vacation booked for a week and they said that was fine. About a week later I was invited for group coffee.
I didn't hear anything for another four weeks. I finally heard back saying that they would need id to proceed with the background check. Three weeks later they called me and said they would like to offer me the position.
When going over the terms and training the manager disregarded my vacation and when I brought it up she said she would need to get back to me.
Now a few days later she is saying that her colleague and her both missed the noted about my vacation and that she all of a sudden cannot offer me the position because it would interfere with the six weeks of training.
Seriously unprofessional, the people who do the interviews seem like they don't know what they are doing. When they need to contact you, they don't might calling three or four times in a day, but when you make a simple request they can't even manage. Another thing they kept asking was "are you sure you're still interested in this position?"
