      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Hillsboro, OR) in Feb 2013

      Interview

Met a recruiter on campus who forwarded my resume to some managers and told me to also submit an app online. Was contacted 2 weeks later and had a phone interview within a week of that contact. This was the only interview I went through. Less than a week later, the intern program manager called me with an offer. I was contacted by a staffing consultant to review the offer, but it took a week to schedule that call and accept the position.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

My interview covered basic CS concepts: sorting, searching, general knowledge of data structures, OOO concepts. I was a freshman who had not yet finished a data structures class at that point so I found it difficult

      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Intel Corporation in Jan 2013

      Interview

Talked to a recruiter at a school event, then submitted my application online and got an email about setting up an interview a month or two later. The interview consisted of one 45 minute phone interview. There were some behavioral questions and some conceptual technical questions about data structures. No actual coding was involved. It took them about a month or two to give me an answer after that interview, but we were in contact during that time.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

None really... just a bunch of questions about what data structures are good for what
