I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Chandler, AZ) in Jun 2013
Interview
I got an email from the hiring manager to set up a phone interview. The phone interview went well and they flew me out to Arizona for an on-site. They told me to make a presentation for one the projects I did in school. The presentation went really well comparing to the other candidate's which was present at the time. After that I interviewed with pretty much everyone in that group, and took me the entire day. They asked basic EE questions and also gave me some sort of quiz to test my analytical and problem solving skills.
I am a fresh Ph. D student and applied the job for Senior Process Engineer position. I sent the resume on campus visiting by Intel stuff and got the phone interview two weeks later without any schedule on Friday afternoon. The interview is about 1 hour and contain two behavior questions and four questions about semiconductor.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation in May 2013
Interview
No in-person interview. After applying for scores of jobs at Intel through their online service I was called about a job I had not applied for, but the manager had found my application in the system. One phone interview and I was hired for a one year internship. We discussed the projects his team was working on and what projects I had recently worked on. Intel hired over 600 interns this summer in Hillsboro for all types of jobs and time frames. One year is longest they do, but you can be hired for multiple internships.
