I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Intel Corporation
Interview
Started with ~30 minutes of phone interview, usually followed by an on-site interview. There was one interviewer (a hiring manager) speaking with me on the phone. I was not offered an on-site interview though.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Portland, OR) in Mar 2013
Interview
An initial 1-1.5 hour phone interview was followed by an onsite interview with roughly 7-9 people in 1:1 setting. Interviewers asked a lot of technical questions and provided much feedback on work dynamics (pro and con of the job, quirks and tips). A decision was reached very quickly (within 1-2 weeks), with prompt followup from HR. It was a very smooth and efficient process, as consistent with the company culture.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Portland, OR) in Nov 2016
Interview
I gave a 50 min presentation to two people in the position that I was interviewing for. Then, I separately met 2 group leaders for an hour each. I also spoke separately with an area manager for half an hour. I finally met with a recruiter for some parting remarks. People were quite friendly and the day was very smooth.
