The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intel Corporation in Jan 2010
Interview
The whole on-site interview was arranged well. Different group leaders will meet you, asking questions, to see if you are a good fit in their team. Overall, it's a good experience. Before the on-site interview, there were two rounds of phone interviews, asking basic questions about your major, personality questions, etc.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Hillsboro, OR) in Feb 2010
Interview
1 hour phone interview and I got on-site.
Mostly technical background questions.
Laser, maxwell equation, current MOS structure, what are technical challenges in current MOS.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Chandler, AZ) in Jul 2010
Interview
One day interview with several 1 to 1 sessions. Mostly technical but also tested managerial skills. If you are good at what you have written in your resume, you should be fine. But be prepared to answer a lot of questions based on whatever you have mentioned in your resume. All interviewers were very nice and made sure that the atmosphere was friendly. Each session lasted for about 1 hour. Overall a very good experience.
