I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Hillsboro, OR) in Dec 2013
Interview
Applied on-line and was shortlisted for on-site interview after about 4 months of application. There was no phone interview, just some questionnaire, which I believe took the place of the phone interview, as they were somewhat not that easy really. Only good thing was that they paid for all expenses-flight,hotels.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Just know well your past job experiences on your resume. Highly technical questions, but not uncommon questions. Your ability to answer the questions depend more on how well you got yourself prepared, which is vital.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation in Oct 2013
Interview
I had a friend pass my resume to the hiring manager in his group. Got a call withing a few days itself for a phone interview. The phone interview was very casual and he was more interested in what I had done during my graduate work and what sort of job I could expect at Intel. Overall, it was more of a conversation rather than an interview. At the end of which he told me that he was interested in inviting me over for an on-site interview. I have set up the on-site and am currently waiting for it to happen.

Question 1
The questions were mostly on my research work so were not really unexpected. He did make sure to inform me of the on-call nature of the work.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Hillsboro, OR) in Feb 2011
Interview
Started with a phone screen and was called onsite the following week. All day 1:1 casual interviews that seemed more like conversations. Some technical questions came up, just need to work through your thoughts and not necessarily jump to an answer.
