I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Folsom, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
Phone interview followed by onsite interview.
The phone interview consisted of programming questions and background. The onsite interview focused more on hardware and operating systems concepts with in depth knowledge being tested.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Toronto, ON) in Dec 2020
Interview
Recruiter emailed me. I had two phone screens and then a virtual onsite with 5 engineers. Some of them were nice but some of them were very arrogant. One of them actually questioned if I ever wrote c++ before (I worked at a very large gpu company and a very large ev company before :). Was a major red flag. Tried to tell the recruiter about this but fell on deaf ears. Terrible experience overall, I know there is super nice people in this organization but the culture is terrible and you can smell it from ten miles away.
