I applied online through the Intel Career website, and the whole interview process took around 2 months. It started with a 30-minute phone screen with a recruiter about a week after applying, focusing on my background and experience. Three weeks later, I had a technical interview via video call with a senior developer, which involved coding challenges and technical questions related to software engineering, focusing on coding skills. There were 7 sets of questions: 5 programming questions and 2 behavioral questions. The test was done online, and the developer watched me as I worked through the coding problems. After another 3 weeks, in the final interview, I had an online interview with 5 panel members, including managers from different departments. They asked thoroughly about my projects during my studies, my passions, and interests. There was also another live coding test where all the panel members judged my coding skills on the spot. At the end of the interview, one of the panel members described the department’s goals, vision, expectations for the role, and career development opportunities.
Advice for Future Candidates: Make sure your programming skills are top-notch, as the technical interviews and live coding tests are rigorous. Be thoroughly prepared to discuss and showcase your past projects, as the panels may want to see your work and delve into your coding practices.
