I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit in Jan 2013
Interview
Initial phone screen with internal recruitment and two further phone screens with hiring manager and other technical staff.
Disappointed in the process and the internal recruitment. In the initial phase, there was lots of communication and "courting". Once they they got up to speed in the hiring and more applications came through, my emails were ignored and phone calls not returned. I understand that they may have found more suitable candidates for the role, but a level of professional courtesy for an experienced hire should be extended. Especially after moving deeper into the hiring process. I am technically still waiting for a response to my application. Needless to say I have moved on and accepted another offer.

Question 1
Interview was straight forward, but it did seem like they were looking for very specific answers to questions instead of looking at an applicants broader skill set and capabilities. It was challenging in the sense that it seemed like you needed to say what they wanted to hear.
