      Creative Producer Interview

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2022

      Interview

1st Round: Recruiter, outlines the rest of the process. The promise to give a response after each stage within 48 hours. 2nd Round: With Hiring manager. 3rd Round is 4 interviews back to back, presenting an intense deck based on a very loose very broad brief. For marketing it was writing a campaign, schedule, approach etc. Then pages in a deck presenting myself, my portfolio followed immediately with hours of one-on-ones with teammates and hiring manager. This took days of work to prepare but was enjoyable. They promise to communicate throughout the process within 48 hours. And following all this work, they said I was in strong connection but needed a week to decide. A week later they said the department was being expanded and needed another week with the holiday but I was a finalist. Then they never responded or communicated again. It's happened before, but their entire veneer they present is transparency-- which is in exchange for a process that is one of the industry's most rigorous. Felt unprofessional to not simply respond a week, 2 weeks or a month later and say the role is filled. Aside from the brush off conclusion, the process was challenging but enjoyable. Very smart people there.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Many STARS questions getting at how one thinks about issues creatively, collaborating, working in a team. This department uses DESIGN THINK, so it's worth reading up on that. Get your examples / anecdotes handy for situations you've encountered. Very personal, very intense, but fun.
