I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Intuit (Mountain View, CA) in Apr 2023
Interview
30 min zoom call w/hiring manager. No job description except for 2 mins of 'overview' of product/issues. Remainder of 28 mins was rapid-fire questions based on the 2 min overview- what would you do? what would you do if x changed to y? what would you to if we lowered the price of x and bundled it for z (another product not every discussed) ? how would you test your hypotheses? what plans would you roll-out if x and y were introduced concurrently? what about cannabilization? what pricing strategies would you test? No questions about me or my interests or anything about fit or the role. Honestly seemed like a fishing for free consulting advice. Lame.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2023
Interview
In the first-round of interviews, the interviewer was warm and conversational. It was mostly a conversation about my experiences, and a short case (more an intellectual discussion) in how I thought about customer acquisition, stickiness, and growth.
