I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Intuit (Eagle, ID) in Oct 2018
Interview
The first step was a reach out by email thanking me for my application. Within a couple of days I was sent another email stating they were interested in my resume. I was then sent a google form with a few questions like whether or not I was comfortable with the salary range, the types of shifts available, and any preplanned vacations coming up. My favorite question was (the last one) " What is your spirit animal and why?" This told me the company is forward thinking and genuinely cared to get to me know further. After this I was invited to a hiring party where we were treated to great hospitality (complete with snacks) and well done video overview of the company after incorporating into the Intuit company. Everything about the process was well done. Each person in the group of people that was invited to the hiring party was then led to individual interviews that were done by employees who currently work in the department you are interviewing for. That portion of the interview felt more like a getting to know you session as compared to the standard style of interview questions one would normally be asked. It was a refreshing experience. Approximately a week later I was contacted by phone call and informed I had been selected for the job. The interview process was better than others I had been involved with and is reflective of the amazing culture this company has worked hard to maintain. It was clear they were looking for an exceptional personality to provide the amazing customer service their clients expect from them rather than just a person to fill an empty seat.
