Question 1
How do you implement error handling in a large-scale distributed system?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Intuit in Aug 2025
Interview
I was recently ghosted by the Intuit recruiter: he disappeared completely after follow-up emails. I later connected with another hiring manager for a similar opening. Both expressed the will to keep in touch during the chat and said words like "getting back to you by xxx time". but neither followed through.
One of the takeaways probably applicable to all interviews: NEVER anchor on the verbal promise from the recruiters or interviewers: they are just trying to make you feel good or keep a positive tone (all liars).
There is a common trend/theme with candidates being ghosted by the company for different job openings. I cannot speak for other aspects, but this pattern suggests a lack of professionalism and respect in the recruiting process — and perhaps a deeper reflection of the company’s internal values and work ethic.
PS: There is a clear need for a specialized interview/recruiting social platform where candidates could respectfully share their recruiting experiences. A community that helps candidates voice themselves and drive tangible influence by pushing the "unprofessional" company teams to make a real change.

Question 1
Talk about a project you worked on and what is your role.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (Mountain View, CA) in Jun 2025
Interview
Like many others have mentioned, the process was extremely stressful—especially considering this is not a FAANG company or FAANG-level salary. From the start, the HR team was very disorganized. I lost count of how many times I had to follow up just to confirm a time slot.
The interview itself had way too many steps: LeetCode-style questions, AI-related questions, implementing a project they provided, a portfolio presentation, unit testing, behavioral rounds, and then more AI questions. I understand companies want to hire the best candidates, but this process felt unnecessarily complicated and drawn out.
After completing all of this, I reached out to the recruiter asking for feedback on what I could improve and never heard back. Honestly, I don’t think this is a company worth investing your time in.ur time with.
