I applied online. I interviewed at Intuit in Jan 2016
Interview
I applied and was contacted by a recruiter via email to set up a phone screening. I replied to the email within 2 hours of receipt, but did not hear back for a week. Before my last proposed time slot was about to expire, I wrote another email with my updated availability; still no answer. After all my proposed time slots have expired, the recruiter finally responded to re-schedule and did not confirm the time until the day of the call. I understand that things can get really busy, but replying to candidates' emails on time should be a common courtesy, even if it's just a quick note saying that you are too busy and to look for a detailed response later. Unfortunately, this kind of behavior seems to be really common among HR in the Bay Area companies now....
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Intuit (Bengaluru) in Jan 2014
Interview
The interview consisted of 3 rounds, all conducted onsite in a single day. Prior to this, I was screened from a number of freshers (undergraduates) through a subjective test which involved solving logical and data structures based questions. The logical questions we mostly puzzles where the challenge was to come up with the most optimal solution.

One of the questions that I was asked was to design a program for an iPod - specifically for the shuffle operation to ensure that the shuffle was truly random and songs wouldn't repeat until the entire list was exhausted. I was also asked several questions about my project experiences and on C++ - design patterns, etc.
