I have interviewed at JPMorgan a few times in the past year and have had mostly negative experiences. The first interview experience included 3 rounds within one day. My first round was behavioral and went pretty well. In the second round, my interviewer was very rude and insinuated that I did not do what was on my resume and was trying to tell me how things were built at my job, as if he worked on my team. I felt hostility from this interviewer as soon as he saw my face before I said a word. The third interviewer didn't even show up, so I had to reschedule this third interview for a different day, despite taking off work for this interview. I ended up receiving an offer, but the recruiter matched me with a team that did not match any of the skills on my resume or align with the interests we discussed on our initial call. He had also promised I could choose a location at the end of the process, but that was not the case. I ended up declining this offer.
Recently, I interviewed for a role on a team in the Plano location. In this call, the interviewer, who was Indian, asked where my name comes from because he had never heard of it (I am not Indian), in a tone that felt unprofessional, especially for a first-round interview. Did not get an offer for this role. I've also noticed recruiters tend to rush the recruiting process and sometimes add extra rounds, even though they say it will only be a certain number of rounds.
