I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Raleigh, NC) in Sep 2017
Interview
Interviewed on campus. Interviewer was nice but seemed to have already made up their mind or else was very distracted. They talked about their Rolex watch a lot. They didn't leave me any time to ask questions. They told me to email them if I had any (I did). They never responded to my email. Didn't hear back from them until several weeks later when I received a boilerplate rejection email.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at KPMG (Singapur)
Interview
After submitting my CV, there was a virtual interview and they asked a market sizing question + why I wanted to join the specific department. They also asked about stuff in my CV and it was overall pretty manageable, they don't expect you to know much as an intern.
It was an hour long with 2 hiring manager and HR. Whole process was like one round to offer. This spanned around 2 weeks in total from HR reach out to offer letter.
My interview process went smoothly and required little to no preparation. The questions were all general in nature and were just an overview of my resume. Very low stress interview process.
