I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG (Williamsburg, VA) in Oct 2014
Interview
KPMG's interviews had very standard questions -- what are your strengths/weaknesses, what experience do you have, etc. No huge curveballs, but it was a lot more behavioral than originally expected... it seemed like they were looking more at your personality than the actual answers you were giving. With that said, it was difficult to gauge how you did when you mostly conversed about hobbies and vacation spots.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at KPMG (Singapur)
Interview
After submitting my CV, there was a virtual interview and they asked a market sizing question + why I wanted to join the specific department. They also asked about stuff in my CV and it was overall pretty manageable, they don't expect you to know much as an intern.
It was an hour long with 2 hiring manager and HR. Whole process was like one round to offer. This spanned around 2 weeks in total from HR reach out to offer letter.
The interview process at KPMG was straightforward but rigorous. I completed an online assessment, followed by a video interview, and then a panel interview with case questions. The team was professional, and the timeline was reasonable, taking about a month from application to offer.
