Typical business school interviewing process. First round: two case interviews with Manager or Principal Second/Final round: three interviews. One is a 1 hour live case with a manager the other two are with Partners. One of which is a standard case and the other is a more typical behavioral fit interview.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kearney (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2010
Interview
I had two interviews with this company, back to back each 45 minutes. They consisted of a case and a 'fit' interview. The cases were surprisingly HARD! The interviewer didn't give me a ton of direction and yet he clearly had an answer that he was driving towards. They didn't smile very much either which made it hard to get into the 'fit' conversation. I'm not sure what they're looking for, but I'm kind of glad I didn't get another interview because it was NOT fun to interact with these people.
