I spoke with a woman from L'Oreal at the career fair, expressing interest in a Chemical Engineering internship. That night I got a phone call from her asking if I could interview the next morning. The next morning I had two 30 minute interviews, one with four executives and one with two people. The first interview was very casual and conversational, they were interested in know my background, and a few examples of situations where I had overcome things, etc. The second interview was very difficult, lots of questions about choosing between two things that I had trouble answering. I sent one followup thank you email to the woman I had met at the career fair, but I never heard back from her. They said I would hear from them in a few weeks and they never sent me anything ever. I probably should have sent a follow up email after the few weeks, but I felt like the interview didn't go so well so I didn't want to hear that I was actually rejected :(
