      Account Executive Interview

      Mar 7, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Montreal, QC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at L'Oréal (Montreal, QC) in Jul 2017

      Interview

My interview process happened in 2 steps. The first interview was an exploratory discussion with a talent acquisition specialist to talk about myself/ my career interest/ what potential jobs I would be interested in at L'Oreal. The conversation was very positive and easy-going, I felt very comfortable talking to her as if the company I was applying for was a small organization. It was clear that the career perspective in the heart of the company was important for them and that hiring me for the job was only the first step. Second interview was with the Sales director - it was another great discussion. We spoke about my interest in terms of work and tasks, past experience and had a long talk about his career path within the organization to see what I would be interested in. The engagement and dynamism of the conversation made it clear to me that it was the kind of organisation I was looking for.

      Interview

There are four interviews, but they are a very short time span (about 30 to 40 minutes. They know what they’re looking for. Phone interview, teams interview, then regional, then vice president. All communication goes through the recruiter.

      Interview

Virtual interviews that are set up by your recruiter. The interviewer seemed a bit uncomfortable but eased into it and things went well. Standard questions were asked but reworded so as to jot seem like the cookie cutter questions. That was interview 2 of 3 so the waiting games continue.
