I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at L'Oréal in Apr 2023
Interview
Very tough but fair. Was flown in from abroad after have two screening calls to have in person meetings with my now manager and team. They were incredibly helpful to accommodate me throughout the process and helped expedite the process.

How can your previous job experience translate to this firm?

Interview
I did an initial short screening interview with someone from HR then was told I'd progressed to the next round.
For the next round, I was asked to complete a video interview. This meant responding to questions that showed up on a screen which were recorded and sent to HR. You had X amount of time to respond to a question before it cut you off but could re-do the question (X = I can't remember the time limit). That's fine but it obviously does not reflect a face to face interview where you can elaborate on one answer longer than another - so you really had to be careful with your words.
That said, I did the awkward interview process and then simply got sent an automatic rejection email.
I felt it was an extremely poor candidate experience - it took a lot of time to prepare for the interview and to go through an awkward process of responding to a robot rather than a person. I think that if a company decides to progress a candidate through the process and require them to complete an interview (albeit an automated one to one extent) that a human response would be appropriate. It's for this response that I would not apply for a role with this company again.
