I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Labcorp in Oct 2009
Interview
I think this company is definitely looking for a "specific" type of person. Somebody that answers their standardized questions just so and who has everything in common with the people in the department. This place has a very "cold" feel to it and the people that I met really had very little personality or warmth. I felt like I was intruding on their day just by being there for an interview. Beware if you are not a local.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
They had very odd, standardized questions. It was clear they were looking for a "right" answer.
They ask a lot of SAR questions, so be sure to brush up on and practice those. Overall a straightforward interview. Here have some extra words now because I have to reach 30 for this silly glassdoor policy

Question 1
Tell me about a time you disagreed with your supervisor and how did you handle it?
Two back to back interviews with 2 people each. Interviewers were kind and respectful of my time by attending on time (has not always been the case with other interviews I have had within this organization).

Question 1
Describe a time when you faced a challenge or hurdle.
I made my salary expectations clear at the beginning with the recruiter, and then went on to complete 5 hours of interviews. I really liked the position and the team but then was shocked when they offered me 30k less than the salary range I gave them and 10k less than what I am currently making. I’m not sure why they thought I would take that or why they even bothered interviewing me and wasting everyone’s time - my impression is that salaries here are WAY below market value and that they will try to get you to take a lowball offer.
