The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lenovo in Oct 2015
Interview
HR was prompt, but overall found the process to be bit strange. For the program they want to send you to China/HK to work for them, but the first round interview is with HR staff over the phone, second round is through videoconference. Why I would I want them to send me across the world if they won't even invest in the recruiting process?
Only a few questions in the interview were devoted to my background, the rest was about desired track (region or product based), salary, and travel preferences. I was also asked to describe an unethical situation I experienced in a past internship. Pretty unprofessional to be asking for dirty details on my previous companies...
Don't see how they can attract the top talent with this sort of process

Question 1
Describe a past situation at an internship that was unethical. How did you deal with the situation?
This is not a typical situation.
This is a special program for college talent for finance only.
We normally have a phone screen with a candidate by a recruiter....but in this case, afterwards, an online video interview is done. This is currently only used for college talent in the US.
Thank you for your feedback. We will look to make adjustments here.
Best wishes to you.
