Interview
I applied for couple of lidl jobs around where I live in the begining of January. Had to do online assessments for all of them and wait for the answer back. The process wasn't long it took 5 days for most of the stores to rejcect me and just one that got back to me, inviting me for a telephone interview. I needed to call and book a time and day I would like to be interviewed and when the person called back on my chosen day the conversation lasted less than 10 mins.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lidl (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2014
Interview
After applying on the company website, I got an email with the invitation for the interview in the store I applied in. I had to complete some test and then had a nice chat with the store manager about myself.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lidl (Hartlepool, England) in Jan 2017
Interview
Applied online, got a call about a week later which involved a short interview with questions like 'What drew you to apply for the job?' and asked if I was aware that there could be early starts and late finishes, and then was invited to an interview the following day. The interview was 1-1 with the manager and assistant manager which involved questions about availability, some scenario type questions and questions about previous experience. We then talked about benefits of the job, type of work to be carried out. Was told they would call back next week with a decision but got a call back two days later offering me the job :)
If there was only two of you working and you notice a puddle on the floor, the checkouts are busy and there is no milk left on shelf. In what order do you tackle these tasks?
