I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lidl (Raleigh, NC) in Aug 2016
Interview
I was invited to a hiring event in Raleigh,NC,which consisted of 30-40 candidates.
After lunch,we went back to our tables and a Lidl employee asked us to stand if our name was called and to gather all our belongings. Everyone in the room knew this meant Lidl was ending the interview process with the people whose names were called.
If your name was called, you had to stand at your table until all the names were called, then line up and leave the room.
This is an embarrassing and degrading method of telling a job candidate and future potential customer that you are not interested in hiring him.her!
I find this practice absurd!
My friends and family actually thought I was joking when I explained what happened during this event!
Needless to say, I definitely won't be doing my shopping at any Lidl stores.
