I attended one of their hiring events, which was an interesting experience. It began with an introduction to the company and the interviewers. There was a group activity where they watched how you interacted with a group and then an individual activity where you were addressing a customer's concern. After those two activities, we broke for lunch and they separated the group. One section was told they could go for the day and the rest were retained for individual interviews. The individual interview was fairly typical, though there was a strong language barrier when it came to some of the questions. The HR person present for the event let us know everyone would get a phone call either way on Monday. This is where I lost a lot of respect for the company. Monday came and no phone call. I have it a few more days and with no call, I reached out to the recruiter who initially contacted me and the HR representative who confirmed me for the event. Still no response. Not even an email. As someone who hires for my company, even the applicants I don't interview get the courtesy of an email. I would never be so blatantly rude as to not follow up with someone I interviewed, especially after confirming when they should hear from me. But it's all for the best because, despite what they may have implied, I think their lack of respect for applicants likely extends into a lack of respect for employees.
