I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lidl (Aberdeen, Schottland) in Aug 2018
Interview
Applied online, had a telephone conversation with the Recruitment Manager then told I’d be advanced to the next stage. Took almost a month to get to the assessment centre which consisted of three parts. Part One: a “debate”which after the excercise we were told we should have argued with each other more. Next part was a role play which was fine, last stage was interview. Again easy.
Next day the Recruitment Manager called to say I’d failed the assessment centre. Despite getting maximum scores in two out of the three parts because I’d underperformed in the first part I failed overall. Rather than telling me after the first exercise I was made to do all of the assessments despite them knowing I’d failed assessment one! Negative experience overall.

Question 1
How would you handle working with a manager with a different management style
the first step was an online test, and the second step was answering some questions while recording the answers. Using the Star method will help you to do it. There are questions about specific situations, and you should answer how you react.
