I applied online. I interviewed at Lidl in Jan 2020
Interview
I applied online then had to complete online Tests, video interview and then an Assessment Centre. At the assessment centre 10 people were invited. First we had a presentation about the company then had to have interviews with two employees, one was an area manager and one worked in HR. After the 45 min interview we had to complete an individual task which a booklet full of emails and information. We had to act as if we were running a charity event and had explain to assessors what tasks we would prioritize and what we would do. After this we had to do a SWOT analysis presentation which we were asked to prepare for the day. I received positive feedback from the day but was told I lack management experience so did not get the job. The assessment centre was run very well and everyone was so friendly but it's annoying because it's a graduate scheme and didn't think management experience would be necessary.

Video Interview- it was just a recorded interview so no-one to talk to.
Had to do a total of 5 questions of which two were very similar asking about the grad scheme.
Before each question I was given two min prep time and after that roughly between 2-3 mins to answer the question.
Whole interview lasted 30 mins
