I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lidl (London, England) in Oct 2016
Interview
Can't say anything bad, but also nothing too positive really. It was overall a perfectly reasonable interview. They were very thorough and asked all the standard Qs you could think of, but no mean questions or a math test or anything like that and they even seemed relatively interested in me as a person. I was interviewing for the position of Assistant/Secretary to the Head of Property (Warehouse Expansion), who conducted the interview herself, together with a colleague.
In the end, I didn't feel strongly either way. It all seemed fine, but it hadn't 'clicked' and I accepted another offer. About two or three weeks later I received positive feedback, but was told they were still seeing potential candidates and wanted to keep 'their options open'. I don't know how much longer the process went on after that, but I am really glad, that luckily I wasn't in a situation, where I was depending on their answer.
