I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lloyds Banking Group (Bristol, England) in Dec 2023
Interview
A hackerrank coding challenge that was perfectly doable for anyone knowing basics such as loops and recursive functions. There was also a bunch of tests meant to assess personality and ability to work in a team - think selecting/ranking prompts about your working patterns/how you'd react in particular professional situations. For part of it you were answering by video recording yourself, which I found surprisingly difficult. At the end of the process they tell you they'll send some feedback for you but they never did.

I interviewed at Lloyds Banking Group (London, England)
Interview
The assessment centre consisted of 4 steps -
1. Group exercise - 25min
2. Individual interview - 1h
Fairly standard interview questions. Felt quite scripted as when I asked to clarify certain questions the interviewer just repeated the exact question back to me, and some questions were very similar so I ended up repeating myself
3. Technical exercise - 1h30
Given and assignment and data to analyse for 30min and then had to present findings to the interviewers. Involved ML and statistical concepts.
4. Individual discussion - 30min
Presented a viewpoint that you got to prepare before the AC. You got the choice between 2 topics, I chose 'Banks should use customer transaction data to offer personalised products'. Then asked questions about it.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Lloyds Banking Group (London, England) in Nov 2024
Interview
Assessment centre tested a good range of skills and the people were the most welcoming I have experienced and really wanted to see you do well. They push you to see exactly what your capable of so don't be put of if it feels hard

Question 1
How should stakeholders manage use of AI, what are the risks involved
I applied online. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at Lloyds Banking Group (Bristol, England)
Interview
Online assessment. No response or updates for nearly 6 months. Very frustrating. Seemed like they didn’t proceed due to being an international student, which seems quite biased. No feedback was given. Invested too much time into it which any positive outcome whatsoever.
