The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin in Jun 2012
Interview
Through my phone interview I had a discussion about my experience and was given the impression I would be a good fit. At the face-to-face interview, which was supposed to be the "technical" interview, I was asked some unclear questions that were irrelevant to my experience. It felt like the interviewer had looked up terms from a certification prep book and came up with a vague way to ask questions to get me to define them. I was able to trudge through that part, and finally he got over himself and finally asked questions relevant to the work I was interviewing for. I went in excited about the opportunity and left feeling disenchanted about working there.

Question 1
How are some ways to use inheritance in Java? The follow up question: What are the differences between an interface and abstract class?
He asked about layers of past projects that I had stated I did not directly work on, that were also not relevant to the position I was interviewing for, and that he had no first-hand familiarity with himself.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Gloucester, England) in May 2026
Interview
Two round interview, Initial interview was very getting to know you and the company to see if there is a fit, Second interview was very behavioural and CV based with some basic technical questions.

How would you handle a situation where two engineers disagree about the best solution?
I applied online. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Fort Worth, TX) in May 2026
Interview
It was easy. They asked me very basic questions like what is a stack. Before that, there was a phone screen which they just asked me to tell me about myself, etc.
Primarily Behavioral. Walked through my resume and asked questions about coursework and what languages I was comfortable in. Did not ask me anything too technical, instead just asked questions about my projects and experiences.
