I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (San Diego, CA) in Jun 2009
Interview
Never met anyone in person prior to the first day at work. Was intially contacted by email, then scheduled an interview by phone. The hiring process proceeded fairly quickly with a fingerprint and document check performed at the nearest Lockheed facility. After the interim clearance was granted, approx 3 weeks later, I was on a plane to a Florida military base for a one week training course. My first day of work was the very next Monday.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Patuxent River, MD) in Dec 2010
Interview
Interviewer lied about the actual position I would be working in. I was told me exactly what I wanted to hear, which was what was stated on the job requisition, not what the job actually entailed.
The job I applied for and the job I am currently trapped in are not even close in description.
It was only after relocating did I find out I was lied too, and now trapped for 12 months due to the company paying for my relocation.
