Interview
Applied for a position and got an email from a recruiter saying the position was already filled. One month later I received an email from the same recruiter saying the applicant had dropped out and that my resume was on their review list. I got a call from the manager to come in for an interview the next day. Interview involved the manager and 3 other employees. Interview was a lot of technical questions with the remainder of the meeting being a discussion about the company, very relaxed toward the end. Received an offer letter by email 3 days later.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin in Apr 2014
Interview
45 min. phone interview. General questions about previous experience, why this position would be a good fit, why they should hire me, etc. No unexpected questions. Manager originally wanted me to interview in person after the phone interview but due to time constraints, they wanted to speed up the process so it was one phone interview and then an offer that same day.
