I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Bryan, TX) in Jan 2011
Interview
After being set up with the interview the previous day, when I arrived for my interview I was given a job description, asked to read it, and sign. I was then taken by the Operations Manager for a one-on-one interview. During this interview I was asked 5 questions in which I was to describe a specific time where I: made a mistake on a project and what I did to correct it; was approached by a customer with a complaint and what I did to assist them. After the 5 questions, I was asked why I wanted to work at Lowe's and specifically as a Head Cashier. It's also a good idea to ask the interviewer what they like most about the company when they ask if you have any questions.

I had been a CSA working for lowe's for just over a month when a sales specialist job was offered to me by my zone manager. About a month after applying for it, I had the interview with both the HR manager and my zone manager taking turns asking me the typical standerdized questions that they ask you in your first interview. Lasted about 30 min.
