I applied through college or university. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Macy's (Houston, TX) in Feb 2016
Interview
I met with a college recruiter at a career fair and had a phone interview a couple weeks later. I had another phone interview about a month and a half later. Waited another month and a half and they flew me to an on-site interview. The on-site interview consisted of panels and multiple interviews.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Macy's (Miami, FL) in Mar 2016
Interview
Very Comprehensive Interview Process.
Began with a personality indicator/basic aptitude online test. Shortly afterwards, I received a phone call/interview and was promptly referred for a followup interview via video chat with a recruiting director. After that interview, I was contacted by a store manager for a 3rd interview via phone. In all it was about a 2 month process. After that interview, I was invited to participate in their on-site interview day. For 24 hours, they looked at the candidates ability to integrate with the company, work as a team and given two opportunities for the candidates to demonstrate their leadership philosophy. There was a comprehensive Q&A with several senior Macy's Executives.

Question 1
Describe an example where you had to lead a person who subsequently did not meet expectations. How did you counsel them and ultimately let them go?
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (Lorain, OH) in Mar 2016
Interview
Initial phone interview - Standard questions over the resume I provided to them, short technical questions over basic terminology for languages I claimed to know and then answering my questions about the position/process. They did not give an offer as this is just an initial phone interview.
