I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Macy's (Jefferson Valley, NY) in Jun 2015
Interview
The process was extremely laid back, I was so anxious heading into the interview as it was my first ever. My interviewer calmed me down and told me not to worry. The main answer they were looking for and that I gave was that I am completely flexible and will have no problem promoting upcoming deals and sales. I was offered the job on the spot which was great. Overall I think my nerves were much bigger than the actual interview.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Macy's (Boardman, OH) in Nov 2012
Interview
The hiring process was easy and straight forward; Very promising to landing the job and even becoming a regular worker. Other's are confusing and not so promising. With Macy's, they will tell you up front if you are a great candidate for the job and what exactly is wanted and expected from the job.
