Macy's Sales Associate interview questions

I applied online on sat and received an e-mail on mon for an interview. I went and waited for 5-10 minutes, then a district manager interviewed me. First, he took a look of my resume, and asked if I had any work experience at a retail store, then described what I like and dislike about that job. He also asked why did I want to work at Macy's. It's a really short and simple interview, but I did not get an offer.

I applied on the computer. After a few weeks they called me to schedule a phone interview. They asked me questions such as why is customer service so important to me, and wanted to make sure that I was familiar with their merchandise.
