I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at McDonald's (Comox, BC) in Apr 2016
Interview
Pretty Average. Dress smart and keep your head up, and you'll probably get it. Ensure you know fry cook lingo and are honest about your skill level. Don't try too hard, this is entry level and the recruiter is aware of it. Ensure you choose a quiet part of the restaurant to have your interview, had some guy gabbing right next to us. Mcdonalds is a decent employer despite the stereotype. Good luck!
Lot's of questions
Practical test and psychological test. pretty tough.
Had to meet many employees and make sure we can satisfy patrons.
Tested on knowledge of my cooking and baking.
It was all a very good process. They were very nice and they also were very pleasant to talk to. They wanted to let me have the job and it was very refreshing to be around someone who is so kind.
It was good felt good. They took time to inform me. And ask good questions and good on-boarding and ir was overall good no complaints. I would repcmed to others and they are good
