First, they look over your application to check your availability and see if you’ve got any customer service experience. If that looks good, they’ll usually give you a quick call to ask about your schedule, why you want the job, and how comfortable you are working in a fast-paced environment. If that goes well, they’ll invite you in for an interview with a manager. They'll ask how you’d handle customers and work with a team. If they like you, they might move you straight into training or give you a trial shift.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at McDonald's (Little Rock, AR) in Jul 2021
Interview
Formal, accommodating, supportive, and friendly. The Hiring Manager kept in constant touch and was very informative about how the process would look. I really appreciated how great their customer service was as a candidate.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at McDonald's in Jun 2024
Interview
The interview was very easy. Simple behavioral questions trying to get to know you. Wants to figure out your work style and what you do in situations. Also wants to know when you are available.
