I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at McDonald's (Atwater, CA) in Feb 2019
Interview
short interview, coaxed me up about the great work environment. Flexible hours and how great it is to work at Mc Donalds. People know it as a fodder job, but it teaches you fast paced work. It helps you get a sense of line work and helps create a great work ethic.

Interview
They don't care who they hire, they just need more people. Very high turn over rate. Most people working are also just doing it because there are no other options for them... It's fine as a last resort, but not a good job.
This process was quick and efficient. I came in and sat in the dining area until a manager was available to interview me. They called me back and gave me a tour of the kitchen and then we proceeded to interview in the managers office.
