Hard to know what was required for the role from the job description. Process was fine and people were pleasant. Online audio wasn't great. Didn't get the role but still unsure what they wanted from the applicant in terms of technical skill etc.

Visual design questions. Reverse engineer this equipment. Knowledge of basic statistics and uncertainty questions.
Basic 30 minute interview. mainly focused on my previous experience. project i had completed and my educational background. i was then shown one of the medical devices produced by the company and asked how i thought certain components might be made.

I then got a second email saying I had a second interview, this was with my hiring manager. He asked technical questions and asked about my research experiences.
