Was casual, and asked a lot of basic behavioral questions, for example why Medtronic, a time of conflict in teams, what would you like to know more about the company and everything that you should expect when doing a behavioral interview
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Medtronic (London, England) in Sep 2024
Interview
I was reached out to by a recruiter and had about 3 interviews, minus the chat with the recruiter. It was a nice experience. Everyone was really friendly and it felt more like a talk amongst colleagues rather than an interrogation. The technical interview went really well as well. We discussed amongst ourselves for a way to solve the problem. And then I talked about the design of a project I created previously (ALWAYS DO PROJECTS!!! They raise your credibility as a software engineer breaking into tech.)
Was shown around the company and I asked a few questions as well. Overall went really well.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Medtronic (Minneapolis, MN) in Nov 2023
Interview
Starts with a phone screening which is followed by an interview with a functional manager. Both interviews were relatively straight forward. Perhaps a little too easy, and it reflected in the vastly varying quality of interns.
