Interview
The interview process is archaic. They expect interviews with about 6 different people. Next, they expect you to review materials and take a test. Then, you have to take the time to prepare a presentation. Then you must ride along with others at least 1-2 times. If that were not enough, you have another final round of interviews. It's like the hiring process was created on a cave wall and managers have no power to decide without the input of 300 people. You'll have 40+ hours applying for a job you may or may not get. I removed myself from the process. 3-4 hours is reasonable, this interview process is not.

Question 1
Why Medtronic? Why now, why leaving old job, what do you know about position?
HR interview, at first. Did not follow up with me after for the team selection/engineer interview. Hr interview was easy. Was ghosted and did not get contact until after the position was filled and I did not get the job.
They have contacted me via email and the interview process was good overall. The first step was the video questions. Then after a month, I had a Zoom meeting with the team lead. After that, we had a face-to-face meeting at the office.
